When it comes to performance the VaporFi VOX TC shines, regardless of the type of atomizer you mount on top of it. We have used it with the vSix Tank with both Nickel and Kanthal coils as well as with the vBit RDA and were pleasantly surprised with the vapor production and flavor. In fact the only minus we found with this mod is the fact that the charging port is located on the bottom and that means you have to unscrew your RDA when plugging it in. With the tanks that's not a problem but with an RDA it tends to leak when not positioned up straight.

The VaporFi VOX TC Starter Kit includes a powerful 50W high quality compact box mod and the option of choosing an atomizer from three available products – two tanks and an RDA. Not as powerful as their 100W TC version, this device is powered by a single 18650 battery and it's intended for all vapers who want to enjoy big clouds but don't plan on joining any amateur cloud chasing competitions in the future.
The VaporFi VOX TC comes packed in a green and white cardboard box and inside you will find the mod itself, a 18650 rechargeable battery, a micro-USB charging cable and the user's manual. Depending on your choice of atomizer, it's going to come packed in another box, that's very much alike in design. The first thing I noticed about this device is that it's remarkably similar to the VOX II mod, with the rectangular buttons on the main side and the round battery cap at the bottom, however it does come with the temperature control feature.
The mod measures roughly 95 x 45 x 25 mm so it's quite compact and easy to hold and it has a nice amount of weight to it with the battery inside. On the top side we do have a spring loaded 510 connector and some nice Vaporfi branding on the front. On the main side we have, from top to bottom, the firing button, the display and the up & down buttons. On the base there's the battery cap (which is knurled for a good grip) and the micro-USB charging port.
The VaporFi VOX TC comes in two colors – black and silver and with the kit you can choose from three
different atomizers (two sub ohm tanks and an RDA). The vBit RDA is ideal for anyone looking to build their own coils and customize the whole vaping experience to the last detail, while the Volt Hybrid Tank offers the same versatility with its RBA base but with the bonus of storing up to 4.5ml of e-liquid. Last but not least, the vSix Tank has a capacity of 6ml of e-juice and it comes with both regular and temperature sensing coils for the ultimate TC experience.
Using this mod is fairly simple, but we do recommend you read the manual first to understand all the different options and check out the button combinations. Once you press both the up & down buttons together you can scroll through the menu and choose between the two operating modes – temp and power. In temperature control mode you can adjusts the wattage by clicking directly on the up/down buttons but in order to adjust the temperature you will need to go to the menu once again and select temp -> adjust. You confirm your options by clicking on the firing button.
Each time you swap tanks or coils (from Kanthal to Nickel for instance) you need to keep the firing button and down button pressed simultaneously so that the mod reads the initial resistance. This is especially important when you are in temperature control mode. And as a small side note, make sure you always use temperature sensing coils (Nickel) in temperature control mode and not in standard power mode.
It can fire as low as 0.05 Ohms in temperature control mode and the highest resistance is 2.5 Ohms. You can completely lock the device and prevent accidental misfiring by holding the firing & up buttons together for a few seconds. Besides the vented battery casing, the mod also comes with a variety of safety features to keep you away from any potential hazards and to protect the battery from short-circuits, high voltage and low voltage.
