In terms of performance, the Eleaf iStick Pico 25 is clearly the best from its series. It works flawlessly, accommodates 25mm atomizers and even has a pre-heat function for your Clapton coils. The ELLO tank does an excellent job in production big, flavorsome clouds and the new atomizer heads are very well designed. It's compact, powerful and very affordable so if you're looking for a single 18650 mod this might be the perfect choice.
Who doesn't like a good quality mini box mod and the Eleaf iStick Pico 25 comes as an improved version over its predecessors. Finally we have a Pico that looks great with 25mm atomizers and features variable wattage, temperature control and bypass. It's an excellent kit for beginners and intermediate vapers and considering it sells for little under $50 it's a real bargain. Besides all these, the new mod comes with upgradeable firmware, fast 2A charging as well as preheat functionality.
What comes with the Pico 25 kit
The Eleaf iStick Pico 25 is available in up to six colors schemes and comes packed in a regular cardboard gift box. Inside you will find the mod itself, the new ELLO tank fitted with a 0.2 Ohm coil, a spare 0.3 Ohm coil, 4.0ml expansion glass tube, a micro-USB cable, a wide bore drip tip and the user manual.
General features of the Pico 25
The device is a little bit bigger than the original Eleaf Pico and this way you can fit your standard 25mm atomizers on top. With the ELLO tank on top it measures 105mm in height x 48mm x 25mm and weighs little under 150 grams. On the top side we have the spring loaded 510 connector as well as the battery knob. On the main side there's the fire button, 0.91" OLED display as well as the micro-USB slot. The up and down adjustment buttons and battery vent holes are placed on the base of the mod.
The Eleaf iStick Pico 25 is well built and the body is made from aluminum with plastic insertions on the side. This reminds us of this other mini mod we reviewed, the SMOK al85. Unlike the al85, the iStick Pico does have a bit of rattle this is due to the fact that the adjustment buttons are placed on the base. This is nothing to be worried about. The device features power mode from 1 – 85W, temperature control for Ni, Ti, SS, and M1-M3, as well as a Bypass mode where it behaves like an unregulated mod. It is powered by a single 18650 battery and we do recommend getting a 30A cell to use it at maximum wattage output. Minimum resistance in power mode is 0.1 Ohm and 0.05 Ohms in temperature control mode.
The ELLO tank is quite impressive
The ELLO tank that comes with the kit is quite impressive and it's one of the best tanks from Eleaf so far. It has a capacity of 2.0ml, probably to comply with European TPD law but there's a 4.0ml adapter inside the box. The new coils are way better than the ones on the Melo and the 0.3 Ohm dual cylinder was our favorite. You get slide to open top fill, two nice drip tips as well as adjustable airflow control at the base. The tank matches the color of the mod and this a big pro in our books.
