For the past year we've tested several SMOK products around here and all of them made stellar impressions. The SMOK R-Steam Mini is no exception and since we got this only a few weeks ago we decided to do a review. This is much smaller than other box mod like the X Cube II or the H-Priv and it's clearly intended for beginners or intermediate vapers.
THIS BUNDLE KIT INCLUDES EVERYTHING
The SMOK R-Steam Mini Ultimate Kit is a great bundle deal from V4L and it includes everything one might need for a classy sub ohm vaping experience. Besides the compact R-Steam Mini box mod you get a TFV4 Mini tank. The mod is available in three colors – red, silver, and black – and the tank only in stainless steel and black. You can pick your choice of color for the mod and tank when placing the order. Also included in the kit there's an external battery charger, a 18650 high drain battery, a micro-USB cable, a car charger, the user manual and a 30ml bottle of Ultimo Vapor e Juice.
The battery charger included in the kit is high end and I really appreciate the effort of including also a car adapter and the cable. Even though you can totally recharge the battery inside the mod, it's always recommend to do this with an external device for maximum performance and cell life span. Also when it comes to batteries you can choose from Aspire or LG with a continuous discharge current of 20A.
DESIGN AND FEATURES
The SMOK R-Steam Mini mod is compact, easy to use and it reminds me of VTC Mini in terms of size and design. It measures 82 x 38 x 22.5 mm, it's powered by a removable 18650 battery and it features a 0.91 inch crisp OLED display. The casing is made from light metal and the finish is colorful and vibrant.
It's a variable wattage device that reaches a maximum output power of 80W. It does temperature control for Ni200, Ti, and SS and it can fire as low as 0.06Ohms in TC mode. The total weight is 120g and the button layout feels very natural and easy to use. On the top side we have the spring loaded 510 connector, the buttons, display and upgrade port on the main side and the magnetic battery door on the back.

THE TFV4 MINI TANK IS GREAT FOR BIG CLOUDS
The TFV4 Mini you get with the SMOK R-Steam Mini Ultimate kit is really impressive and it's a tank I've talked about before. You get a variety of coils for this particular model and all of them produce vapor 
like small scale locomotives. It holds a maximum of 3.5ml of e-juice and you also get a replacement glass tube and all sorts of spare parts. It makes a great combo with the 80W mod and I've constantly used it between 40-60W, especially with the rebuildable TF-RCA Coil.
