The Micro TFV4 tank is also a real champion when it comes to producing huge clouds and it even comes with the option of upgrading the size from an initial 2.5ml e-juice capacity to 3.5ml. You can do this by replacing the Pyrex glass tube with the provided XL version and using the extension tube on the inside. The tank also comes with adjustable airflow and it's filled from the top (with a swivel top cap). Out of the box it comes fitted with the 0.3 Ohm version micro fused clapton core coil and the flavor I got from it was phenomenal. You also get a spare 0.25 Ohm Stainless Steel coil to use in temperature control mode, and there's even the option of buying an RBA base for this model.
It's time for a very sexy mod starter kit review and I have to say I really like the way this gizmo looks and feels. It's an upgraded version of the M80 and it's called the Smok Micro One 80W TC Starter Kit – one of the Chinese company's latest products to hit the market. It includes the Micro TFV4, a mini version of the original TFV4 cloud machine and it's an ideal kit for any type of vaper from beginner to advanced.
The Smok Micro One is available in four different colors – Red, Stainless Steel, White and Black and they all look fantastic. My favorite is clearly the black one, mostly because of the perfect red & black combo with the tank O-rings. And if on the M80 the temperature control feature was a bit hit and miss, on the new model it works like a charm and it also includes support for Stainless Steel wire.
This lovely kit comes packed in nice black cardboard gift box and inside you will find the mod itself, the tank with a coil already fitted, a spare coil, a spare Pyrex tube (XL version), a tank extension adapter, a vape band, a micro-USB charging cable, some spare O-rings and an insulator, a verification card and the user's manual. The first thing you'll notice with the Smok Micro One is the exceptional build quality and attention to details and the fact that it feels so durable. The finish on it is stellar and it's definitely the kind of mod that's going to get you noticed in a crowd. It has a reasonable amount of weight to it (210g) due to the massive built in battery but it feels perfect balanced, it has a nice grip and it's a pleasure to vape.
On the top side we have the 510 connector with a spring loaded center pin and going down the main side we can spot the firing button, OLED display, and the up and down buttons. On the base there's the micro USB port used for charging and firmware upgrade as well as venting holes for the battery. And speaking about the battery this mod is powered by an internal 4000mAh cell that delivers an impressive autonomy, even when using it with those 0.25 Ohm coils.
The mod measures roughly 22 x 55 x 85mm and it's very similar in size and design with the M80, with some minor exceptions. In variable wattage mode it can reach up to 80W and in temperature control it can work with values anywhere between 200 - 600°F (100 - 315°C). You can change between operating modes, the type of wire used and adjust a great number of features by accessing the menu. It also includes a feature to adjust the initial resistance of the coil for the ultimate vaping experience, tweaked to the last detail.

The tank measures 50mm in height and has a diameter of 22mm. It also has an adjustable airflow system inside the drip tip for better vapor cooling when using it at high wattages / temperatures. Besides the RBA base you can also buy a chuff cap style drip tip for the Micro TFV4, for an even better cloud chasing like experience. You also have a variety of atomizer heads to choose from ranging from absolute cloud machines to coils specifically designed for flavor chasers.
I didn't encounter any issues with the temperature control nor with the micro-USB charging port (like some users complained about on the original M80) and the whole experience I had with the Smok Micro One was simply brilliant. A perfectly designed starter kit with various upgrade possibilities and lots of cool features.
