Performance wise, the Kanger CUPTI is a great improvement over the Nebox and with plenty vapor and good flavor. I vaped it as high as 60W and the coils managed to wick properly and I also used it in MTL mode just to see how it feels like. If you use a 3000mAh battery you're looking at a pretty decent autonomy (5-6h) with the 0.5 Ohm coil and more than a full day with the 1.5 Ohm coil. It's a well priced starter kit that offers a good all in one vaping experience but Kanger didn't include their RBA section in the box with this device (you can buy it separately).
I've always been a fan of all in one starter kits like the Nebox, the eGrip and the Plato so today I'm thrilled to talk about one of the latest such mods that the industry has to offer. It's called the Kanger CUPTI and it's quite similar to the Nebox only with a couple of small (but great) differences. The first new feature is the fact that it comes with a replaceable Pyrex glass tank and the second is that it shares the same leak proof system as the Cubis. So, all of the cons of the original Nebox have now been corrected and this brand new starter kit seems to be really hitting like a beast so let's take a closer look at what's inside the box.
The Kanger CUPTI comes fitted with the brand new CLOCC SS 0.5 Ohm coil inside and you do get an extra NiCr 1.5 Ohm coil (for mouth to lung), a micro-USB charging cable, a spare drip tip (for mouth to lung) and a user manual. It is available in three different colors – black, white, and red and it's powered by a removable 18650 high drain battery (sold separately). The new coils seem to be similar to those on the Cubis but the chimney is way bigger as the base of the coil needs to make contact with the base of tubular tank.

The kit looks very slick especially in red and black, feels nice in the hand and it's the ideal vape to slide into your pocket and take it to work (measures 82 x 50 x 22.5mm). On the top side we can see the mouthpiece with the adjustable airflow mechanism just below, the small form factor display and the two small round adjustment buttons. The tank is clearly visible on both faces of the mod and there's even a Max indicator to know exactly how much e-juice to pour inside the 5ml reservoir. I highly recommend sticking to that Max level because if you go just a slight over, e-liquid is going to spill out of the tank when you screw the top cap on or your coil will end up flooded. On the side we have the fire button and some venting slots in the usual K shape and on the base there's the battery door (with a mechanism very similar to that found on cameras).

How to fill up this vape
To fill the Kangertech CUPTI with ejuice you will need to unscrew the top cap (from just under the mouthpiece) which comes out with the whole chimney section and the coil. The 0.5 Ohm coil is specifically designed for direct lung vaping while the 1.5 Ohm version is for mouth to lung (coupled with the restricted mouthpiece and a tight airflow setting). However, just like in the case of the Cubis, you will need to give these coils a break-in period because at first they do tend to gurgle and flood. I also got e-juice in my mouth a couple of times just after refilling so keep that in mind. I found it sometimes depends on the thickness of the e-juice and on how much you pour in when refilling but not as a general rule.
Temperature Control
The Kanger CUPTI works between 7 – 75W in variable wattage mode, between 200-600F (100-300C) in temperature control mode and it fires down to 0.15 Ohms. The temperature control feature works with Ni, Ti, NiChrome and Stainless Steel but unfortunately you can't seem to adjust the wattage when in TC mode. The build quality is pretty solid, but in case you crack your tank there's a bit of fiddling due to the fact that you have to take the whole device apart in order to replace it.
