What you get with the V-Grip

The Vaporfi V-Grip 75W TC comes packed in a standard white and green cardboard box. besides the mod itself you will also find a micro-USB cable, user manual and warranty card. You can get the device in two colors: black or stainless steel with a brushed metallic finish.

Stealthy and powerful

The mod measures 85mm x 38mm x 22mm and can accommodate atomizers and tanks up to 22mm without any overhang. It has a very compact design and easily fits in the hand. It's a very stealthy device and it's easy to use.

On top of the mod we have a spring loaded 510 connector and the lock button. The display and two adjustment buttons are placed on the main side, while the micro-USB slot on the right. You will need a high drain 18650 battery to power up the bad boy. Just pull the back cover / fire bar and slide in the cell with the positive pole facing downwards. Snap the panel back on and press the fire bar five consecutive times. This will power on the device.

The Vaporfi V-Grip 75W TC is the first mod from Vaporfi to feature a fire bar. The fire bar also acts as the battery door and it's held in place by very strong magnets. Has a nice feel to it and the button is responsive. You can lock or unlock the fire bar by sliding the top button left or right.

With the Vaporfi V-Grip 75W TC you can adjust wattage between 1W – 75W. The device also features temperature control as well as a bypass mode. This is more than enough for any mid-range sub ohm tank with resistance between 0.4 – 0.6 Ohms. It's also a perfect mod for beginners and mouth to lung tanks.

Temperature control and Bypass on the Vaporfi V-Grip 75W TC

This stealthy mod works with all types of wire: Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel. There's even a TCR mode with different presets and power can be adjusted at any time. TC range is between 200° - 600° F. You can also use the Vaporfi V-Grip 75W TC in Celsius mode between 100° - 300°C. Maximum output voltage is 6.0V and minimum resistance is 0.1 Ohms. To change the TCR settings, with the device turned off just press and hold the fire bar and positive button for five seconds. The Bypass mode will make the device function as an unregulated mod. This will deliver power to the atomizer depending on its resistance. Minimum resistance in this case is 0.5 Ohms.

Performance and final words on the V-Grip vape

In terms of performance the Vaporfi V-Grip 75W TC is a really good mod. It's a device intended for beginners and intermediate vapers and is simple to use, elegant and stealthy. It has a very responsive chip and we didn't encounter delays or any other issues during our tests. Battery life is average and mostly depends on the output power. At 25W we managed to get about 5h of moderate vaping. With a 0.4 Ohm coil at 50W we got around 3 hours from the same battery.
