What you get with the VooPoo Drag Baby
The VooPoo Drag Baby Trio kit will arrive in a nice white cardboard presentation box and it’s available in two options: Standard and Fans Version. The only difference between these two is that the Fans Version also includes a chain necklace that attaches to the mod. You will also need to choose between the Regular or TPD version of the kit. Here the Regular version includes a 0.6 Ohm and a 1.2 Ohm coil, and the TPD version includes a 0.8 Ohm and a 1.2 Ohm coil. The difference is that the 0.6 Ohm coil uses mesh technology, while the 0.8 Ohm is just a regular Kanthal coil.
With the starter kit you will get the mod itself, the glass tube, the two coils, a USB cable, the user manual and warranty card. The resistance of the coils and the availability of the chain necklace depend on which version of this kit you purchase.
Design of the Drag Baby Trio
The VooPoo Drag Baby Trio mod is a type of all in one vape where the bottom section of the tank is integrated within the device. It measures 58.5 mm x 35mm x 21.5mm and weighs just 55 grams. However the aluminum alloy and stainless steel construction make it feel very rigid and durable, with a slightly rubberized finish.
On the top of the mod we don’t have a standard 510 connector, but rather the bottom section of the tank. This makes swapping coils very easy since there are no threads. The fire button, charging port and notification light are all placed on the main side. There are no adjustment buttons with this tiny bad boy nor is there a display. You just plug and play and the experience you get is truly amazing.
VooPoo Drag Baby Trio starter kit features
The VooPoo Drag Baby Trio vape is powered by the new GENE Trio chip. This has been specifically engineered for a mod this small and offers very fast response times. It also comes with several safety features like 10s cut-off, short circuit protection, over discharge protection, overcharge protection, and over current protection.
The tiny box mod is powered by a built-in 1500mAh battery, which gets fully charged in less than one and a half hours. The notification light will glow Green when the charge is over 60%, then Blue when it’s between 60 and 20% and finally Red when it’s time to plug it in.
The output is automatically adjusted between 5 - 25W and it depends on the resistance of the coil and remaining battery charge. Minimum resistance is 0.5 Ohms, however you are only limited to these 3 types of VooPoo PnP coils. There is no adjustable output and no temperature control with the Drag Baby Trio.
The Drag Baby Tank
The VooPoo Drag Baby Tank included in this starter kit is really amazing. Everything from the mouthpiece to the build quality feels premium and the experience you get from it is mind blowing. It features a patented top fill system and offers adjustable airflow. The total e-liquid capacity is 1.8ml and the drip tip is one of the most comfortable we tested so far.
There are essentially three types of coils you can use with the Drag Baby Tank. First we have the 0.6 Ohm Mesh coil, which operates between 20 - 28W. This is great for flavor and it’s definitely a direct lung type of atomizer. Then we have the 1.2 Ohm Ceramic coil, which operates between 10 - 15W. This is intended for mouth to lung draws and works perfectly with nicotine salts. Last but not least we have the 0.8 Ohm coil, which is standard Kanthal and operates between 12 - 18W. This is also intended for mouth to lung use, however it’s not recommended for nicotine salts.
Do note that if you purchase the TPD version, this will only come with the mouth to lung coils. You, however, have the option of buying the 0.6 Ohm mesh coil separately if you want to switch to direct lung vaping.

The VooPoo Drag Baby starter kit is a perfectly balanced, affordable and easy to use vape. It’s mostly intended for beginners and the three coils deliver amazing flavor and vapor.
