The VaporFi Rebel 3 starter kit is one cute and stylish, yet powerful tube style mod that's fitted with a non-removable 3000mAh battery and delivers an impressive sub ohm experience with the pre-built 0.5 Ohm coils. It's perfectly designed for a night out with friends or for an enjoyable road trip due to its form factor and outstanding battery life.
The VaporFi Rebel 3 is available in two different colors – stainless steel and black – and it comes packed in the standard Vaporfi white and green cardboard box. Inside you will find the device itself (already fitted with a 0.5 Ohm coil inside the tank), a micro-USB charging cable, a wall adapter, a spare 0.5 Ohm coil and a detailed user guide. The mod has a nice brushed metallic finish and it feels very durable due to the solid stainless steel construction. It measures little over 110mm in height and it has a diameter of 30mm, which is a bit wider than your average 22mm model, however it's very comfortable to hold and to use.
The mod and tank combo looks very sleek with a removable drip tip on the top of the tank, a narrow glass window to check out the e-liquid level and the Vf branded rectangular firing button. The mod has a spring loaded 510 connector on top, however you will only be able to use it with 30mm tanks (which are not that widely available) for a perfect aesthetic match. The micro-USB slot is located on the side and it features 1A charging, so you'll be able to recharge a fully depleted battery in around 3-4 hours. The fire button also acts as an indicator for the remaining charge (through the frequency of blinks after each puff) and it also shows when there is an error with the atomizer.
As I mentioned earlier the The VaporFi Rebel 3 is powered by an internal 3000mAh cell, which is ideal considering this kit only works with 0.5 Ohm coil heads. It automatically adjusts the wattage according to the type of atomizer you're using and with the 0.5 Ohm coils it should fire at around 35-40W. The tank has a total capacity of 5.8ml of e-liquid and if you pair this with the generous battery you're looking at a device that's able to last you around a full day of normal vaping. It has an adjustable airflow mechanism at the bottom and it's clearly a device intended for direct lung inhales.
The 0.5 Ohm coils need some priming before using them for the first time and I suggest pouring 2-3 drops of e-juice directly onto the cotton. They give a nice flavor and great vapor on the The VaporFi Rebel 3, however I wouldn't recommend going for e-liquids with a higher VG concentration than 70/30 on this kit, especially if you like to chain vape. In normal day to day use I didn't get any dry hits from it and it's the ideal device to test out some of Vaporfi's Grand Reserve delicious e-juices. You can also buy five packs of coils and each of these should last anywhere between 2 – 3 weeks, depending on how you like to vape.
