Kanger Pangu Sub Ohm Tank
Affordable and enjoyable
In terms of mouth to lung the experience with the Kanger Pangu is pretty good, however I would have loved a tighter draw. Flavor wise both the coils do a nice job, but I'm definitely a fan of the 0.5 Ohm version, which you can also use in temperature control mode on some devices that support the function (the IPV 5 for instance).  All in all it's a good budget type sub ohm tank that also offers a decent MTL experience, however it's in DL mode where it makes the best impression. I sure love the juice flow control mechanism and this easily comes in handy when dealing with high PG or high VG e-liquids.

There are a lot of sub ohm tanks out there at the moment but I've just got this little guy and I can tell you right from the start it comes with some pretty neat design innovations. The Kanger Pangu is one of the latest tanks from the famous Chinese manufacturer and it's pretty different from their regular devices. It looks a bit like one of the old generation cartos but it has some neat secrets up its sleeve and it's great value considering the budget style price tag ( I found it online at little under $17, which is definitely a solid deal).

Kanger Pangu tank contents The Kanger Pangu comes packed in a beautiful cardboard box with Chinese style writing and a picture of the device on the top. Inside you will find the tank itself fitted with a 0.5 Ohm SS316L coil inside (for direct lung vaping), a spare NiCr 1.5 Ohm coil (for mouth to lung vaping), a spare Pyrex Glass tube, spare O-rings, and a user guide on how to fill it with e-liquid. It is available in three different colors – black, white and silver – and it's made from solid stainless steel and glass.

It measures 22mm in diameter, but it's not your average sub-ohm tank design mostly due to the way the internal chimney is built. Unlike other devices, the chimney is part of the base and it has two juice flow control holes that match the wicking slots on the coils. So it's basically a chimney with an integrated juice control mechanism that allows the replacement of the coil even when the tank is more than half full with e-liquid (you have to tilt the tank upside down for this but it does work, given the level of the e-juice is right under the feeding holes).

The Kanger Pangu has a total capacity of 3.5ml, which is pretty decent for today's standards, and it has a convenient top fill design. The coils might resemble the ones on the Aspire Cleito on first glance, but they are completely different and they kind of remind me of the old generation cartomizers. The "coil" part of the atomizer is only at the base and everything else is just an extension tube onto which the top cap screws. The drip tip is also different from standard 510 models and it's designed to incorporate (and the act as a sleeve for ) the top part of the coil. Kanger Pangu tank black

Unfortunately you don't an adjustable airflow mechanism at the base and the two slots are always open. This is not something bad when using the direct lung coils, however when you mount the 1.5 Ohm mouth to lung coils the draw might be a bit too loose for some vapers. And speaking about these coils they do wick up very well at lower wattages, however once you reach 40W on the 0.5 Ohm version you can't really take more than 3-4 consecutive pulls with a high VG e-liquid. Rather than that I've used it at 27W with a 70/30 mix and it wicked just perfectly all throughout the day.
