Performance wise the Carrys T4-R is a pretty decent performer that absolutely shines when it comes to aesthetics. This tank looks incredible on top of any mod and the full resin finish gives it such a glamorous appearance. The coils are well built and deliver great flavor and vapor and we didn't have any problems with leaking or dry hits. Overall a very good sub ohm atomizer that’s reasonably priced and great for both mouth to lung and direct lung vapers.
When we received the Carrys T4-R we were very excited because this is the first resin tank to end up on our desk. It’s a 25mm sub ohm atomizer with a 5.0ml reservoir that comes in very appealing shades of green. It’s suited for both direct lung and mouth to lung users and features convenient top fill and adjustable airflow.
WHAT YOU GET INSIDE THE BOX
The Carrys T4-R comes packed in a black and blue cardboard presentation box. Inside you will find the device itself pre-fitted with a 0.6 Ohm coil. You also get a spare 1.5 Ohm coil suitable for mouth to lung, spare O-rings, a spare glass tube and the user manual.
DESIGN AND MAIN FEATURES
The tank measures 25mm x 47mm, is made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and has a unique resin finish. Build quality is pretty good with smooth threads and a great airflow adjustment ring on the base. There’s also a 2.0ml version of the Carrys T4-R that’s TPD compliant for our friends in Europe.
The airflow is a bit restrictive in comparison to other tanks but this really helps enhance flavor. Also the coils are very well engineered and they tend to last for a very long time. We mostly used the 0.6 Ohm head between 30-50W and found our sweet spot at 42W. This coped well even with high VG e-liquids and really surprised us in terms of flavor. The 1.5 Ohm coil has a restrictive draw and it’s intended to be used between 10 - 25W. The flavor is not as impressive as on the 0.6 Ohm version, but still good and with decent vapor at 15W.
You won’t be able to use the Carrys T4-R with your favorite mouthpiece, but the resin one you get in the box looks and feels very nice. The top ports are quite generous and will fit any unicorn bottle or dropper, just make sure not to overfill.
