At first glance the Apollo Evolve Kit might seem like a device from 5 years ago, however it does have a couple of tricks up its sleeve. This ego style vape pen was engineered to work with nicotine salts and 50/50 VG/PG freebase blends and the overall experience is incredible. Powered by a tiny battery, this vape is discreet and great for that much needed nicotine fix.

Here’s what you get with the kit
The Apollo Evolve vape comes packed inside a blister style cardboard box. With the kit you get the tiny eGo battery, the refillable tank, the USB charger, two coils and the user manual.
It’s pretty basic, but also very inexpensive. This is a good option for people who don’t want to invest too much in a starter kit.
When it comes to available colors there’s only black, but you can’t really complain in this price range.
While purchasing the device we also recommend getting a 5-pack of coils, which sells for $9.95. These extra coils will keep you good for at least two months.
It’s also a good idea to throw in a bottle of e-liquid, especially one from Apollo’s nicotine salts line. Shipping is free for orders over $50, and it’s better to get everything in one go.
Design and features of the Apollo Evolve ecig
The Apollo Evolve e-cig has a very minimalist design. It was engineered to keep things simple and easy to use. We have an e-Go style battery rated at only 150mAh and a tiny refillable tank that holds 0.7ml of e-liquid.
The whole vape measures little under 100mm and has a diameter of only 9.5mm. It weighs 41 grams and it can easily fit inside any type of pocket or purse. It’s discreet, lightweight and comes with an ultra-portable USB charger. It's even smaller than the Joyetech Ego AIO Eco pen.
The coils are replaceable and have a resistance between 2.5 - 2.9 Ohms. They are not exactly built for clouds, but they deliver decent flavor and cigarette-like vapor production. Each of these atomizers lasts between 1 - 2 weeks and it mostly depends on your style of vaping. Sweeter e-liquids will generally cause the coils to burn more quickly. The same goes for darker colored juices.
The battery is activated on inhale and the sensor is very good. An LED will light up at the bottom of the battery each time you take a draw. This also acts as the charge indicator. When it starts to flash several times, you know it needs to be plugged in.
Performance and battery life
The Apollo Evolve Kit is a very affordable vape pen that works with nicotine salts and 50/50 VG/PG freebase e-liquids. It’s easy to use, discreet and delivers on par vapor and flavor. It’s excellent for beginners and we also recommend it as a substitute for pod mods.
Battery life on the other hand is not that great. You will probably need to recharge your device every 2h if you use it regularly. When you only vape during small office breaks, then it might be able to last you the full day. This of course if you use it with high strength nig salts.
People generally buy two of these kits just to have the second battery as a back-up. This is probably a good idea, considering Apollo doesn't sell these batteries separately.
However, with the ultra-portable USB charger, you just need to plug it into a computer or laptop. Your battery will be ready to use in under 30 minutes.
