In terms of performance, the Vaporfi Viper tank is the absolute champion when it comes to delicious clouds, especially with the 0.2 Ohm coil. My sweet spot was at 55W on the Vaporfi Vox TC and these coils seem to be very forgiving. I didn't get any dry hits nor flooding and I even chain vaped for a couple of seconds. The 4ml/22mm tank does its job flawlessly and it's definitely in my top 5 for the moment!
Across the years Vaporfi have released a great variety of tanks, with the vSix and the vShock being some of my personal favorites, however the product I'm going to talk about today is a total game changer. It's by far one of the best tanks I got to try this year and when it comes to clouds and build quality it has only a few Chinese rivals.
The Vaporfi Viper tank comes packed in the standard white and green box and inside you will find the device itself (that comes pre-installed with a 0.2 Ohm SS coil), a spare 0.5 Ohm regular coil and a user manual. It is available in two different colors (black and stainless steel) but the black version totally rocks on top of any box mod.
The thing that really impressed me about the Vaporfi Viper tank (besides the clouds, of course) is the build quality. Solid stainless steel, great threads and no problems with the O-rings or the pins. Because it's a tank built especially for sub ohming, it comes with two different airflow adjustment mechanisms. The ring at the base will let you adjust the air intake from a restrictive direct lung experience to a very loose draw. When you're vaping at 60-80W or even higher, the extra airflow adjustment mechanism located just below the drip tip will help you cool down the vapor and maximize the cloud chasing experience.
The Vaporfi Viper tank is extremely versatile and it's compatible with a wide range of coils (you can buy additional five packs when you place the order to save money on shipping). For the ultimate sub ohm experience I recommend the 0.2 Ohm stainless steel coils, because these can be used in variable wattage mode as well as temperature control mode without any issues (rather than the 0.2 Ohm Ni200 coils, which only work with TC compatible mods). However, if 0.2 Ohms is too hot or too powerful, there are always the 0.25 Ohm / 0.5 Ohm atomizer heads that also deliver a great flavor. On the other hand, if you prefer a much cooler vape with less clouds, there are also 1.2 Ohm coil heads available for purchase.
Another cool feature about this tank is the e-liquid adjustment mechanism, which does wonders when you're using thicker (or thinner) juices. Simply twist the glass until the feeding holes are opened or closed all the way and you'll totally avoid flooding or those nasty dry hits (depending on the case). And since this is a top fill design, you will have to keep them fully closed each time you want to add more juice to your tank.
