In terms of vapor production, the VaporFI Rocket is quite generous on the upper voltage settings. The adjustment dial is located at the bottom and you can choose any value between 3.2V and 4.8V. It’s very easy to find a sweet spot, but you need to take into account that higher voltages drain the battery a lot quicker, so if you prefer vaping at 4.8V prepare to recharge after 2-3 days of moderate vaping. Considering that a five pack of coils sells for around $20, getting 6 of them inside the box is a pretty good deal and that should last a beginner for a couple of months.
Our Review On The VaporFI Rocket
We got the Rocket starter kit alongside a couple of other VaporFI products and we decided to put the to the test and see if they stand to their reputation. The Rocket is essentially and improved version of an eGo twist battery in terms of looks and functionality and it’s the perfect setup for any beginner or person making the switch from a cig-a-like kit or a regular eGo. And yes, we are aware that there are plenty of cheaper alternatives out there, but it’s only fair to read the review first and draw the conclusions afterwards.
The VaporFI Rocket kit comes packed in a lovely white & green colored cardboard box and inside you will find the fully assembled battery + tank, a user’s manual, a USB eGo charger, a wall adapter and a five pack of extra 1.8 Ohm atomizer heads. We got our kit in stainless but we noticed on the company’s website that it also comes in black with the tank matching the color of the battery. The first thing you’ll notice about this particular model is the quality of the materials and the finish. From what we can tell it’s a pretty durable device that’s going to last you for years and that is packed with everything you need to stay off traditional cigarettes (besides the e-liquid of course, but VaporFI has hundreds of flavors available and the option to mix them for up to 30,000 total combinations so there are plenty of options to choose from if you decide to order the kit).

The battery is fairly bigger in comparison with a traditional eGo but it packs plenty of power. The Rocket is rated at 1,600mAh which puts it in the big league of vape pens. To be fair, the model resembles the EMOW from Kangertech but it has bigger battery capacity, a bigger tank and a simpler way of adjusting the voltage.
The VaporFI Rocket is very intuitive and simple to use. It does come with a big round firing button that surrounded by an LED light and you will need to press it five consecutive times to turn the device on or off. The included USB charger and wall adapter are going to help you recharge you battery in close to 2.5 hours, however if you use an older USB port from a computer it might take as long as 4 hours. To recharge the battery you will need to unscrew the tank, therefore this isn’t a pass-through kit unfortunately – but not a deal breaker either.
The real jewel in the box is the VaporFI Rocket tank, a 2.5ml steel and Pyrex glass beauty that’s fitted with 510 threading and an adjustable airflow mechanism. This bad boy is easy to refill with e-liquid and it comes with replaceable bottom coil 1.8 Ohm atomizer heads. The adjustable airflow system consists of five consecutive holes that you can individually cover or leave open via a rotating dial at the bottom to adjust the draw. This is great for any type of vaper as it ensures both mouth to lung and full lung hits. Replacing the atomizer heads is easy and all you need to do is unscrew the base, remove the old coil and mount in a new one. The coils can last from one to three weeks depending on how often you use the device and you should replace them as soon as you feel a constant burnt taste of there’s no more vapor coming out from the tank. To boost the lifespan of the coils it’s recommended that you never let the e-liquid in the tank go below 25% full.

Another thing you need to consider if you decide to order the Rocket is that you can use a coupon code like the one on our website and get at least 10% off any order besides e-liquids.
