Smoant Campbel Kit review - Infuse your vape with soft drinks and other beverages

You’re not vaping the soda itself but rather use it as a flavor infuser for your vapor. Much like smoke travels inside a hookah and gets filtered by water, here vapor travels through the soft drink and picks up tiny hints of that particular flavor. The end result is some sort of fusion between the two, and if you’re good at pairing you might find yourself enjoying a really flavorsome vape.

What you get with the Smoant Campbel starter kit

The Smoant CAMPBEL package includes the mod itself, the tank and filter section, two coils, spare glass sections, spare O-rings, a micro-USB cable and the user manual. You can get this stater kit in three anodized colors like Champagne Gold, Sapphire Blue or Classic Black.

Smoant Campbel: The design

In terms of design, the Smoant Campbel will definitely not win any awards. As a matter of fact, it’s one of the funkiest mods we've seen so far. The 77mm box looks minuscule with that massive 110mm filter/tank on top and resembles a wide variety of items.

The mod measures 77mm x 55mm x 30mm and it’s powered by a single 18650 battery. It doesn't have a display nor adjustable wattage and comes with a single button on the side. There are three LEDs which indicate remaining battery life and that’s about ti. Very rudimentary however the build quality and finish are quite impressive.

The top section includes the tank and filter and screws on using a standard 510 connector.

How to use the Campbel from Smoant

The Campbel from Smoant works with e-liquids and the tank has a total capacity of 2.0ml. If you don’t fill up the filter section with soda or other drinks, it’s just like vaping from a standard box mod.

First step is to assemble the device by screwing on the filter on top of the mod. Then remove the protective sleeve by pulling on the filter. This exposes the sub ohm tank. Now remove the top cap and fill the reservoir with your favorite e-juice.

Next step is to put the filter back on and them removing its cover by twisting counter-clockwise. This exposes the drinks reservoir, where you have to fill up to the MAX indicator. Make sure you don’t cross the line and then just put the cover back on. Maximum capacity for this section is 3.0ml.

Last thing you need to check is the leak-proof mechanism on top. If you want to use your vaporizer, make sure the slots are not covered. If you want to carry it or leave it on the desk, then close the slots by twisting on the cap. Then leave the device to rest for 10 minutes. This allows the coil to soak up e-liquid and prevent dry hits. The next time you fill with e-liquid or soda you can skip this step.

After that you can vape from your Smoant Campbel like you would from a regular box mod. There will be a constant gurgling sound each time you inhale, but that’s normal.

Performance and final thoughts on the Smoant Campbel vape

The Smoant Campbel vape is innovative and works as intended. The two flavors mix for a new and unique experience, but there are some drawbacks. First is that the overall e-liquid flavor is rather muted when compared to other tanks. Then the soft drink or other sugar containing beverage you might want to use gets quite sticky on the device. Sure you can take it apart to clean the reservoir but it’s extra hassle for everyone using it.

It’s a great product if you like to pair e-liquids with regular drinks, but aside from that it’s not a device you will be using on a daily basis. The design is weird and the overall shape and size make it hard to carry around. The coils are great, abut we would have loved to use the device with just the tank on top.
