Designed for flavor and huge clouds, the iJoy Avenger sub ohm tank is an astonishing piece of engineering. This 3.2ml bad boy has expandable e-juice capacity up to 4.7ml with the included bubble glass tube. In addition it comes with a very impressive mesh coil. It’s made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and the built quality is top notch. All the threads are buttery smooth and it features a great top fill system.

What you get with the Avenger tank
You will find the Avenger tank packed inside an acrylic box, with a cardboard sleeve on top. With it you get the standard 0.35 Ohm coil, a spare 0.15 Ohm coil, the bubble glass section, and a bag of extra O-rings and seals.
There are five different colors to choose from: Stainless, Champagne, White, Blue, and Black with our favorite being Champagne.
Same design, remarkable build quality
The iJoy Avenger tank doesn't really stand out in terms of design. It’s a standard 25mm diameter tank with a total height of 51mm. It’s made from stainless steel and glass and features top fill and adjustable airflow adjustment. However when it comes to build quality, this is where this product absolutely shines. For the $30 price tag you get impressive machining with really good threads and amazing attention to detail.
The tank has a proprietary mouthpiece made from metal, but it also offers a 510 adapter for classic drip tip enthusiasts.
Its eliquid capacity is expandable from 3.2ml to 4.7ml with the bubble glass section, and there’s also a TPD compliant version.
The top fill mechanism offers two fairly big slots, therefore you can use any type of dropper, unicorn or gorilla bottle.
Some of the best coils we tried in 2018
The standard 0.35 Ohm iJoy Avenger coils are not that impressive. They deliver vapor and flavor but it’s nothing revolutionary.
The 0.15 Ohm mesh coils on the other hand are some of the best we tried in 2018. They are on par with the TFV12 Prince Cobra tank. These bullet shaped atomizer heads are truly impressive and they deliver outstanding performance when you crank up the power to 65W. They go through e-liquid like a warm knife through butter but the experience is totally worth it.
We would have loved to see more of these mesh coils included in the box, even if that means ditching the standard 0.35 Ohm version.
The iJoy Avenger tank: Performance and final thoughts
The iJoy Avenger sub ohm tank is a reputable contender to any modern day cloud chaser. It features some of the most impressive mesh coils on the market right now and incredible build quality. The tank looks really good in Champagne or Black and the 4.7ml capacity is more reasonable.
The main con we found with it is that it can sometimes leak if you don’t close off the airflow adjustment ring when refilling with e-liquid. It’s not something serious, but it’s worth noticing. Also we would have loved a Delrin or Ultem drip tip instead of the metal one.
