We haven’t seen that many smoked glass tanks on the market and the Asvape Cobra is the first one we review. This 3.8ml bad boy is probably inspired by famous 1986 movie featuring Sylvester Stallone and the presentation is kick-ass. The spare coil is packed in a bullet shaped plastic container and the fatty drip tip alongside those gold accents at the top give it that glamorous vibe.
WHAT YOU GET INSIDE THE BOX
The Asvape Cobra comes packed in a black cardboard presentation box with a golden logo on top. Inside you will find the tank itself fitted with the 0.5 Ohm coil, a spare Ni80 0.5 Ohm coil, an extra glass tube, spare O-rings and the user manual.
DESIGN AND MAIN FEATURES
It’s a low profile tank measuring a total height of 42.5mm and a diameter of 24mm. Available in two colors - black and stainless steel - it comes with 510 threading and also 510 drip tip. The two airflow slots are located on the base ring and it also features convenient top fill.
One thing we really like about the Asvape Cobra are the threads. This are super smooth and makes the overall experience more than enjoyable. You can easily take off the top cap to refill it with e-liquid, or the base to clean the device and swap coils. The smoked glass makes it a bit difficult to see your juice level in low light but adds style and makes this tank look awesome on almost any mod.
The 0.5 Ohm Ni80 coils are really good as long as you use them up to maximum 45W. They come with a lot of tiny wicking holes all around the body and this allows even for higher VG juices. However we wouldn't go higher than 80% VG with this one and also skip chain vaping. Flavor is great straight away so you don’t have to wait for a break-in period to enjoy your favorite juice.
