DRAG Nano: Presentation and colors

The VooPoo DRAG Nano will arrive in a small cardboard presentation box with a picture of the device on top. Inside you will find the tiny pod vape, an empty pod, the micro-USB cable, the user manual and several cards. When it comes to colors, there are several options you can choose from for the resin front panel of the Nano vape: Klein Blue, Tidal, Ceylon Yellow, Fiesta, Ink, Aurora, and Nebulas Blue.

Design of the small VooPoo Nano pod system

The VooPoo DRAG Nano pod system is small lightweight and portable. The device measures just 54.5mm x 35mm x 11mm and weighs no more than 45 grams. It’s made from Zinc and Aluminum alloys and the build quality is pretty good. It doesn't have the same finish on the back as the larger VooPoo DRAG 2 Platinum, however it feels very similar. The only difference is that the Nano, while still glossy and chic, is a real fingerprint magnet.

The device is activated on draw so it doesn't have any buttons. There is a small micro-USB slot on the base as well as the Gene Chip long and an LED indicator.

The pod just slides inside the slot above and also acts as the mouthpiece for the tiny mod. It is very easy to use and it will fit the palm of your hand just perfectly.

Drag Nano features

The VooPoo DRAG Nano Pod vape is powered by the Gene.Pod chip and features constant voltage output. This means you won’t notice a difference in vapor production when regardless if the battery is at 100% or 30%. VooPoo have also improved their intelligent cold boot mode, where the device delivers the same outstanding experience even from the first puff.

And speaking about the battery, we have a built-in 750mAh cell that’s designed to last for at least a full day. The Notification light will blink green when the charge is over 60%, blue when it’s between 20 - 60% and red when it’s time to plug it in.

Since this is a GENE chip we also have to mention its safety features. The tiny DRAG Nano vape has a 10s cut-off period, short circuit protection, overcharge protection, over discharge protection and over current protection.

The VooPoo Nano pod

The VooPoo Nano pod system comes with a single cartridge out of the box. And while this is refillable and will last for at least 7 days of moderate use, we always ask manufacturers to provide users with at least two pods in the kit.

The pod has a total capacity of 1.0ml and the resistance is of 1.8 Ohms. To refill it just slide it out of the vape, remove the mouthpiece section and use a gorilla or unicorn style bottle to pour e-liquid from the side.

We used the same pod during out tests for almost a week and didn't notice any decrease in flavor or vapor production. These can probably be refilled for more than 10 times without problems.

Performance of the VooPoo Nano DRAG pod mod

The VooPoo DRAG Nano Pod is an excellent device for users looking for a small, portable and lightweight vape with a beautiful design. It resembles the popular DRAG 2 Platinum box mod on a miniature level and the flavor and vapor quality you get from it are outstanding. Also battery life is one of the best we've seen on a pod system but unfortunately there is no pass-through option.

The mouth to lung style inhale is very comfortable and will make beginners get accustomed with the device very fast.

The only con we have with this petite bad boy is the fact that it only comes with one pod out of the box.
