When talking about performance, it all depends on the setup and your personal preference but the Sigelei ZMax gives you enough control over the settings so you’ll be able to find your own particular sweet spot with good accuracy. Vapor production is good and consistent and it’s accompanied by a reasonable throat hit. It’s a perfect choice for beginners that don’t want to spend a fortune on their fist vv/vw device and it certainly is a good investment.
With a smooth stainless steel satin finish, the Sigelei ZMax V3 is a state of the art advanced personal vaporizer that features variable voltage and variable wattage adjustment and RMS operation for voltage regulation resulting in an accurate and consistent vaping experience.
From the start you can tell it’s a telescopic mod and this gizmo can house a single 18650 or 18500 battery, and even dual 18350 batteries thanks to the two bottom caps (one smaller and one bigger) that come inside the box. The box is just white regular cardboard, nothing too fancy, but then again this is a reasonably priced mod so we were not expecting the packing to sweep us of our feet.
The Sigelei ZMAX is crafted from good quality stainless steel with a satin finish, making it more durable and less susceptible to fingerprints. It has a diameter of around 23mm and a total length of 128mm in 18650 mode. It features the ever-popular 510 connection and an oversized 14mm drip well, making it compatible with most RDAs/RBAs on the market today and also the eGo style accessories.
To power on the ZMax V3 you simply need to press on the firing button five consecutive times and you will notice the “Sigelei ON†text appearing on the nice OLED display. The OLED technology allows the ZMAX to display full descriptions of each setting and error message taking the guesswork out of using this particular APV. To enter the settings menu you simply need to press the firing button three times and then choose between the multiple options.
As we said before this AVP allows the user to choose from it operating mode and go for a variable voltage experience or a variable wattage experience. The voltage range is anywhere between 3.0-6.0v in 0.1v increments and the wattage range is from 3.0 to 15.0w in 0.5w increments, ensuring enough versatility depending on the used atomizer or type of e-liquid. The nice OLED screen also shows the atomizer resistance and the remaining battery and is one of the clearest on any AVP we have tested so far. You even have the option to turn the screen on or off depending on your personal preference.
Just like any other respectable AVP, the Sigelei ZMax V3 comes with many safety features like short circuit protection, battery over/under current protection, low resistance protection below 1.2ohms, 5A output limit, and five ventilation holes in the bottom cap to prevent the battery from overheating.
