Paired with the Tugboat V2 Mod the combination is exceptional, with the cap sitting flush and chucking out clouds like a locomotive. The two cap features two 7mm airflow slots which are non-adjustable and a wide bore 14mm Delrin mouthpiece. There's no single coil option with this top cap but this didn't bother me at all. The slots account for a very airy draw and good flavor as well as massive clouds of warm and delicious vapor.
Fans of vapes and vapor smoking systems usually like to play in online casinos. They do not like to spend a lot of money, so they choose low deposit casino. The best evening for such people is to make a few bets or play online poker for small amounts while lying on the couch and smoking their favorite vape. By the way, these people spend the money they win on mods for their smoking systems.
What's in the Tugboat 2 box?
The Tugboat V2 Mod comes packed in black cardboard box with some transparent plastic film to check out the device from the outside and it includes the mod itself, a matching top cap, a certificate of authenticity, a spare silver spring, some spare O-rings and a canvas Vape soCK mod holder (which is essentially a carrying case).
The flawless design
The first thing I've noticed about this particular mod is it's gorgeous matte coated finish that makes it really stand out. It comes in a variety of colors – zombie green with red splatter, white with pink splatter, black with pink splatter, Tiffany blue with white splatter, and black with red splatter – and it is essentially a hybrid, which means the positive battery side comes in direct contact with the RDA's 510 pin. This accounts for a very low resistance and voltage drop and it makes the mod hit like an absolute beast.
Because it's machined from top quality copper the mod feels very sturdy and has a reasonable amount of weight to it. However it fits in the hand quite perfectly and it feels just like a premium product. On the top side we have the hole for the atomizer pin and on the bottom there's the firing button. This comes fitted with much riding spring than the extra one provided inside the box and if it feels too hard to press you can swap it at any time. But don't think the spare one is so easy to press that it would account for accidental firing – no way, it requires a bit less effort but I didn't encounter any issues with it.
The bottom cap has buttery threads and it can be taken apart and cleaned with little effort. It has a Delrin ring that can be adjusted to prevent battery rattle and everything fits together perfectly.
Measurements of this Tugboat Mod
The Tugboat V2 Mod measures 90mm in length and 24mm in diameter so if you want to use it with a different atomizer you have to make sure it's the same diameter (I found the Kennedy 24 to be a great match). However, the device was clearly intended to be used with the Tugboat RDA and this is why it includes the matching top. You do need to own or purchase a Tugboat RDA to use it with the mod, because the top cap doesn't include any other parts.
The V2's RDA
If you're not familiar with the Tugboat RDA, this atomizer comes with different caps that can be fitted on top of it and change the way it performs.
Overall Experience with the Tugboat
Since this is a hybrid mechanical mod you need to be extra careful which atomizer you mount on top of it but the end result is more than satisfying. My overall experience with the Tugboat V2 Mod was great to say the least and these new generation high drain batteries really make all the difference when you're using 0.4 Ohm coils. It hits like a champion and it's probably on the best vape mods in the mechanical category in 2015. If it's in your budget and you already have the RDA, then I do recommend this as an addition to any mod collection.
