What you get with the Puffco Plus

The Puffco Plus comes packed in a premium cardboard presentation box. Inside you will find the vape pen itself, an extra vaporizing chamber, an USB charger, a bag of cotton swabs and the user manual.

The device is available in two colors – black and white, and it looks stylish either way. The black version, however, can be a real fingerprint at times, but nothing a piece of cloth can't fix.

Design and main features of this vape pen

The tiny wax vape pen is built from high quality plated brass. It has a total height of 130mm and a diameter of 14mm. It's pretty lightweight and feels natural in the hand. The Puffco Plus is comprised of three main components: the mouthpiece, the heating chamber and the battery. The chamber measures 25mm x 14mm and uses coil-less technology. The interior is made from ceramic material in order to deliver pure aroma.

The battery features a cloud shaped button on the middle. This also acts as the temperature indicator and there are three levels to choose from. Green is the lowest temperature setting; blue is in the middle and white is the highest. In order to turn the device on or off you have to press the button five consecutive times. To cycle between the three temperature presets just click it four times.

Another cool feature is the session mode. Rather than just taking a puff once you press the button, the Puffco Plus also allows you to use it freely. Just press the button two times and the LED light will stay on for 12 seconds. This ensures the right amount of heat stays inside the chamber and delivers great clouds as well as excellent flavor.

The dart – a cool innovation

From the outside the shape of the Plus is somewhat similar to the Dr Dabber Aurora wax pen. When unscrewing the mouth piece you will notice something totally different going on inside the chamber.

The most interesting design feature of the Puffco Plus is definitely the "dart". This pointy extension is placed under the mouthpiece and allows the user to easily put wax inside the chamber. An "on the go" loading tool that's stealthy and practical.

It also allows for a smoother draw due to its placement and it's one of the coolest ideas we've seen on a vaporizer so far.

Puffco Plus: Performance and final words

The Puffco Plus wax vape pen is one of the stealthiest and most convenient ways of enjoying your dabs. Build quality is excellent, battery life is above average and flavor is pretty surprising from a device this small. The dart is practical and easy to use and the three temperature settings are more than enough to ensure a versatile and rich experience.

The only thing we don't like is the eGo style charger. This requires works by unscrewing the chamber each time you need to plug in the device. Pretty old for 2018, and a micro-USB slot on the base would have been much better. Other than that, the device performed flawlessly during our tests and it's definitely something we recommend to beginners or intermediate users.
