The Pro 50 Combustor - formerly known as the Sub Herb Pro-50 - comes packed in a high quality cardboard presentation box. You will only find it available in Black but this color gives the device a very modern and stealthy look. With the vaporizer you also get a vape band, a silicone test tip, 5 replacement mesh screens, a dab tool, an extra coil and the user manual.

The Pro 50 Combustor looks like a very sleek and powerful dry herb pen. The atomizer is fully detachable and uses 510 connector for enhanced compatibility. Right between the atomizer and the battery we have an airflow adjustment ring, which can be set manually to match your vaping preferences.

The battery has a total capacity of 1600mAh and it uses standard micro-USB slot for charging. It takes around 2h to get have a full battery and this is more than enough to last you a full day - sometimes even more.

The battery has a display on the bottom, two small adjustment buttons and one bigger fire button. You can easily set the wattage to your desired preference, but we would recommend starting with 12 or 15W and steadily going up from there. 50W is too much for dry herb vaping, so it’s probably a good idea to keep it under 30W in order to prevent combustion.

The atomizer consists of a removable top part which includes the mouthpiece and a base which incorporates the coil. Inside the top part we have a replaceable screen which prevents tiny dry herb particles from passing through. The coil is made from ceramic porcelain and this ensures even distribution of heat.

How to use the Migvapor Combustor vaporizer

The Pro 50 Combustor vaporizer is intended to be used mainly with dry herb. After you grind the botanical you need to fill up the chamber, put the top section on, adjust the temperature and keep the button pressed for a few seconds. You will enjoy a very pure and delicious vapor coming out of that mouthpiece.

We found 22-23W to be the ideal setting for dry herb vaping as anything higher than that can cause combustion. It may be called the Combustor but the flavor is much nicer when the herb doesn't catch fire.

You can also use the Pro 50 Combustor pen for waxes and concentrates, but for this you will need to crank up the power all the way to 26 - 27W for best results. For great dabbing we recommend the SUB-HERB Water Bubbler, which sells for only $19.95. It definitely takes the experience to a whole new level. Just remember to clean up the coil after each use with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol to prevent the residue from sticking.

The Pro 50 Combustor from MigVapor is a powerful and versatile dry herb vaporizer which you can also use for waxes, concentrates and oils. It comes with a great ceramic coil and a powerful 1600mAh battery. You can adjust the wattage up to 50W however we found the best setting to be of around 22W. It’s easy to clean, easy to use and it will fit inside any pocket, bag or purse.

The only con is that you can easily burn the dry herb if you set the wrong wattage. Also it’s a very good idea to keep the device upright whenever you’re using it with oils.
