Our Review On The Cloud V Diamond Herbal Vaporizer
The company's flagship device when it comes to herbal vaporizers, the Cloud V Diamond is the perfect combination between power and style. Powered by a generous built-in battery and offering users the ability to adjust their vaping temperature between 300F - 435F, the Diamond is an outstanding performer.
The Cloud V Diamond is available in only two colors – black and silver – and it comes packed in a very nice cardboard box with all the essential accessories inside. You will find the fully assembled vaporizer, two extra mouthpieces, a micro-USB charging cable, a packing tool, a cleaning brush and a user manual. The first thing that you notice about this unit is it's incredibly compact form factor, very similar in height and width with the PAX 2. It measures around 114 x 28 x 17 mm and the build quality on it is very good. It comes with a magnetic top cap to protect the mouthpiece and it's the kind of device you can easily take with you anywhere you go.
It's powered by an internal 2000mAh battery and it has just the right amount of weight to it. It feels very comfortable in the hand and it's a pleasure to vape. A novelty about this device is that the heating chamber is ceramic and it can hold between 0.2 – 0.3 grams of finely grinded dry herb mixture. It does have some power in the battery when you first take it out but it's ideal to leave it plugged in for at least four hours before the first use.
To access the chamber you have to first take off the top cap and then the mouth piece. After you fill the
chamber with loose leaf make sure to use the packing tool and then mount the mouth piece back on. Press the button three times and it will start showing the rising temperature on the LCD display. A green indicator light will blink as the Cloud V Diamond heats up and you'll know once it's ready to vape.
The power button and charging ports are located on the sides, and on the front of the vaporizer we have the LCD display as well as the two plus/minus adjustment buttons. You can increase or decrease the temperature by pressing on these buttons and the device will heat up or cool down accordingly. You can set it anywhere between 300F - 435F in 1F increments for a smoother or harder hit.
The internal battery is completely recharged in about four hours with the provided USB adaptor and it packs enough power for 3-5 vaping sessions depending on the temperature you enjoy. Vapor quality is clearly the best from all of the other Cloud V vaporizers and the overall experience is definitely in my top five.
It's recommended that you clean the chamber thoroughly after each vaping session with the provided mini-brush and the mouthpiece with a damp cloth. You can also switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius by pressing the power and minus buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
