The Aspire Spryte starter kit is a combination between a pod system and an AIO and it's great for nicotine salts. You can also use it with regular freebase e-liquids as it features two different types of coils. It's a compact and easy to use vape. In addition the mouthpiece is one of the most comfortable we tried. It offers good battery life and has adjustable airflow for both mouth to lung and direct lung hits.

Spryte: Design and features
The Aspire Spryte starter kit has a pretty interesting design. It almost feels like a highlighter pen, only slightly heavier. It's a combination between an AIO and a pod system and it's pretty similar in terms of performance to the Aspire Breeze we reviewed before. The vape measures 108mm x 26mm x 26mm and fits the palm of your hand perfectly.
It's comprised of three main parts: the battery, the pod and the protective cap. The battery features an LED indicator light under the fire button. It also has the micro-USB slot located on the base. The built-in cell has a total capacity of 650mAh and offers great autonomy, especially with the 1.8 Ohm coil.
It takes around 1:15h to recharge the battery and when the process is over the LED light will turn off automatically. To turn the device on or off, simply press the fire button for five consecutive times.
The refillable AIO pod system
The Aspire Spryte AIO vaporizer comes with a single refillable 3.5ml cartridge. There's also a 2.0ml version for vapers in Europe, that's compliant with TPD regulations.
When using the Spryte vape for the first time you need to unscrew the bottom section of the pod. Then mount your preferred coil, prime it and put the pod back together. After that just remove the rubber gasket, fill the cartridge with e-liquid and allow 10 minutes for the coil to fully saturate.
The best part about the Aspire Spryte pod is that it offers adjustable airflow. After you firmly screwed on the base with the coil, simply adjust the knob to get a tighter or a looser draw. The device allows for very tight mouth to lung pulls as well as for loose direct lung inhales.
The 1.8 Ohm and 1.2 Ohm coils
The difference between the Spryte and other refillable pod systems on the market is that it allows for coil replacement. This means you don't have to toss the pod once it starts to give a burnt taste. You simply replace the coil with a new one and it's ready to vape.
The 1.8 Ohm standard CE5 BVC coils are great for all types of e-liquids. We particularly recommend freebase nicotine juices with a concentration between 6 – 12mg. Vapor production is pretty good and the flavor is on point.
The 1.2 Ohm BVC coils with green O-ring are specifically designed for nicotine salts. We got best results with 25mg juices and a VG/PG ratio of 50/50. These match the 12W output of the Spryte vaporizer just perfectly.
Performance and overall thoughts on the Spryte vape
Aspire Spryte AIO kit is an excellent device for nicotine salts and freebase e-liquids. It features replaceable coils, adjustable airflow and good battery life. The mouthpiece is one of the most comfortable we tried and the overall experience is top notch.
On the negative side it's pretty bulky and looks and feels similar to a highlighter pen. The build quality is not the best we've seen from Aspire but for this price range it feels quite durable.
