The Smok TFV4 Mini Tank is not only a tank that looks good on any mod but it's also a solid performer. It is available in two colors (silver and black) and it's certainly addressed to those looking to puff out massive clouds. I really enjoy these new Clapton coils (both the pre-built and rebuildable versions) and I was able to get an amazing experience at around 75W with the TF-CLP2. It juices up perfectly and it delivers an insane amount of vapor. It's probably a lot warmer than on a lot of the previous tanks I've tested but it's very similar to what I get out of an RDA. And considering the just under $30 price tag, it's probably the best tank money can buy if you're looking for something very versatile and easy to use
I've tested its bigger brother the TFV4 a few months ago and was very impressed with the amount of vapor and flavor it delivers and it's still one of the most versatile sub ohm tanks on the market, however the Chinese company decided to release a smaller version of their flagship tank and it too is a tiny monster when it comes to producing massive clouds.
One thing that stands out right from the start on the Smok TFV4 Mini Tank is the wide range of atomizer heads available for it, from the TF-CLP2 (Clapton dual coil) to the TF-RCA (rebuildable Clapton coil head) and many others. In fact there are a total of eight different coil heads you can use with this particular tank, so when it comes to versatility there are no complaints. And with every coil having a different vapor and flavor profile, chances are you'll definitely find one to match your vaping needs for a very long time.
The Smok TFV4 Mini Tank comes packed in a very stylish white and grey cardboard box and inside you'll find plenty of goodies. Besides the fully assembled unit itself you also get two extra coils (there are three in total – the 0.35 Ohm TF-CLP2, which is my favorite, the 0.4 Ohm TF-S6 (six coils) and the TF-RCA, which is their rebuildable Clapton base), a spare Pyrex Glass tube, two spare seal gaskets, replacement O-rings, two rubber vape bands, a screwdriver, a bag of organic cotton and replacement Clapton wire for the RBA base. So, out of the box you get pretty much everything needed to enjoy the experience on this tank so that's a big thumbs up for SMOK.
The tank is built from top quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass and it has a diameter of 22mm (so it's smaller than the original TFV4). It also has a height of 73.5mm and a total capacity of 3.5ml so given the fact that it works with the same type of coils you just know this too will be a winner. It also comes with the same dual airflow adjustment mechanism (on the base and drip tip) but the inner part of the drip tip is made from Pyrex glass this time for better heat dissipation. The top cap is hinged to the body and it swivels when you need to refill the tank. You also get spare seals for the top filling mechanism so I can tell you it's a pretty sweet deal.
