Stabilized wood mods are really beautiful and the Asvape Lucifer is clearly no exception. This state of the art vape was crafted with great attention to detail and it delivers a lot of power to your coils. However, it’s something for passionate vapers only, since the $190 price tag sets it pretty far off the average ecig budget.
What you get inside the Asvape box
The device comes packed in a lovely black cardboard presentation box. Inside you will find the mod itself, a micro-USB charging cable and the user manual. The Asvape Lucifer is in essence a mechanical mod but with a voltage regulator and a couple of safety features. In terms of functionality it reminds of the Tesla Invader 3, as it adjust the output depending on the resistance of the coil and the value selected from the potentiometer.
Materials, design and main features
The Asvape Lucifer is available in two options, with brass or stainless inserts, however the stabilized wood patterns differ from unit to unit. This makes every mod a one of a kind piece and it’s something that would definitely get you noticed. Premium quality paired with a unique design for that authentic retro look and feel.
On the top side of the mod we have a spring loaded 510 connector that has a gold plated contact. It can take atomizers up to 28mm in diameter without overhang and it pairs perfectly with the Cobra. Then the body has a nice curve as we reach the fire button, and this is one of a kind. It looks like a ruby embedded in steel and it’s where this mod gets is name. This small gem resembles the eye of Lucifer, or in popular terms, the eye of the devil. Of course this is a fingerprint magnet but it’s easy to clean and let’s be honest, it looks so beautiful.
Also on the main side, near the base we have the potentiometer. This is engraved with roman numerals and you can adjust it between I and IV. It’s easy to do this with your nail but you can also use a flat head screwdriver. Depending on this power setting the mod will adjust its output and hit the coils with less or more wattage. We recommend sticking with I and II until you get a sense of how the device operates and only then take it to full power. We managed to burn a coil in a matter of seconds because we were not careful with the output.
The Asvape Lucifer is powered by two 18650 high amp batteries. These have individual slots in the base and the caps come with super smooth threads. Also each cap has six small slots for venting and the polarities are engraved on the mod. The mod also has multiple built-in protections like short circuit, low voltage and overheating to keep you on the safe side.
